Mud Runner is a series of 3 challenging cross country races held at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire. The current series includes a cross country, a duathlon and a cross country obstacle course. Participants vary from the fiercely competitive through to fun runners, charity runners and people who have never done anything like this in their lives!
Basically, a little bit of insanity is a definite plus!

Oblivion 2013
Ledbury hi-tech start-up Miso Communications
has announced that it is sponsoring the upcoming Mud Runner Oblivion race at Eastnor castle this coming weekend (29 and 30 June).
Over 4,000 participants are expected to converge on the Deer Park in Eastnor to run two adult races and two children’s races over a series of challenging obstacles on Saturday and Sunday. Adults will race over 10 obstacles in the course of the 10km race, while children can look forward to eight obstacles over 5km.
Graham Wilde, Director of Miso Communications said, “Mud Runner is an ideal opportunity to promote our exciting new range of internet-based telephone services. It’s a great, fun and slightly mad family event, and we’re looking forward to sponsoring the Marshalls’ Award, which is given to the individual or team which best represents the spirit of the weekend.”Kester Wilkinson of D3 Events, organisers of the Mud Runner series of races said, “We’re delighted to have Miso Communications on board as a sponsor for the race. The photographers have been alerted that we really want some good (ie VERY muddy!!) "after" shots - ideally at least one showing Olivia giving her dad a muddy bear hug!
